Hello :) my name is Sky (they/them) and I am volunteer with Lost Valley Educational Center and Meadow Song Ecovillage in Dexter, Oregon, about a half hour outside of Eugene. I live at Lost Valley, and am happy to answer questions about what life is like here. Lost Valley is a beautiful, 87 acre community with about 40 residents, ranging from children to grandparents. We also have a lively influx of students, visitors, and interns on a regular basis. We use sociocratic governance to make decisions, and are rooted in the principles of non-violent communication, decolonization, and permaculture.
